Thank you and yes, we did have a meaningful Christmas day with midnight Mass and yesterday it got really sunny so we went for a walk.

  3. Dearest Mariette; Merry Christmas to you, my dear friend☆☆☆ Beautiful Christmas Decorations for us to see; especially first one with your hand sewed placement with beautiful Camellias♡♡♡ Nativity Scene Ornaments is always impressive for us Japanese to know the importance of God's birth.

Oh, how great to hear that you got convenient connection with internet and TV through cable. Ours is from NTT, maybe a bit different from your connection and pricing system :-) Wishing you bright and healthy year end from Japan♪♪♪

Thank you very much dear friend! It is a very special time of the year and having the bonus of sunshine makes it really stand out! That Church you saw above, in the ornament, is one of the oldest buildings in town and we went for midnight mass. Silent Night sung at that time of the day becomes even more touching.
No, we don't have optical fiber available in our area; you are so blessed!
Enjoy also your final days of 2014 together in harmony.
Sending you big hugs across the oceans and wishing you good health and lots of blessings.

Merry Christmas weekend to you as well. We did have five days of heavy rain but on Christmas Eve it stopped so we had no problem going to midnight Mass. Christmas day was sunny, just like today; your Boxing day I guess... or for the Europeans 2nd Christmas Day.
Enjoy the final days of 2014 and thanks for your loyal friendship!

I do hope you had a lovely Christmas with your Dear Pieter! Your decorations are so lovely and elegant, like you, my Dear. Here is hoping that the coming New Year is full of many wonderful blessings for you both! I know that you feel as I do - each day is a gift. Praying your gifts are full of love and happiness! 1. Dearest Karen,
We both only celebrate Christmas in a religious way; no gift giving. In The Netherlands before 1983, we did exchange gifts on Saint Nicholas on the eve of the 5th of December but never on Christmas. Christmas is reserved for Mass and for a family dinner. We also had two Christmas days, also 2nd Christmas day so one day for family and the other day for your in-laws. Health and happiness are the most valuable gifts and we are blessed and also for living in the USA with great medical care.
      Hugs,
      Mariette
