But most people don't think about where their food comes from or how it is grown. I know I never did. When we went to Sri Lanka years ago, I saw how cinnamon sticks are made and never before had realized it is actually bark from the tree. And on the trip we just returned from, I saw pomegranate for the first time on the tree. So amazing! And tried white mulberries for the first time. And hamleh, which is roasted green chickpeas.
