ReplyDeleteMeine Schwester näht ja auch sehr viel und da komme ich ab und an auch mal in den Genuß.
Früher nähte ich auch noch öfter mal. Aber irgendwie finde ich nicht mehr so richtig Zeit und Muße dafür.
Danke auch für Deinen lieben Kommentar! "City" sagen wir hier schon seit meiner frühen Kindheit, das hat nichts mit modernen Trends bei uns zu tun. In Braunschweig waren englische Besatzungssoldaten und auch Amerikaner noch lange Zeit nach dem 2. Weltkrieg. Wir haben hier auch viele französische Wörter, die auch allgemein in die deutsche Sprache übergegangen sind. Im Grunde - wenn man sich einmal mit Sprachwissenschaft befasst - stellt man fest, das unsere Sprache ja schon lange ein zusammengesetzter Misch-Masch ist. Aber den typisch deutschen Charakter wird unsere Sprache ganz sicher nie verlieren, wie auch die anderen Sprachen den ihren nicht, bin ich überzeugt.

MUST pop in to have a PROPER look when more time -running around like a headless chicken -or should I say turkey?....Having said that, since Monday I have a bit more time again, so just catching up with everyone and starting a blog round :)!!!! And not caring on bit anymore that I still don't have a tree.....
