{Happy Second Easter Day}


  • In Europe they do celebrate TWO days of Easter; First and Second Easter Day! 
  • So let me wish those lucky ones a very Happy Second Easter Day!



  • My Organdy Beribboned Easter Eggs in yellow and salmon...

  • This is the book from which I got the idea to make those Organdy Ribbon bows...
  • Photo from the millennium year with lovely Easter bouquet from our own garden!
  • Tablecloth and placemat is from Le Jacquard Français.

  • Yellow roses were Midas Touch but we lost them all to the drought.

    Dearest Mariette it all looks so beautiful! Just returned from visiting my mother for Easter (she lives about 4 hours away) and it was amazing how different the gardens are there.     Dear Mariette, yes, we celebrated Easter Monday yesterday in Europe. Unfortunately our Easter looked more like Christmas this year, as we had a big snow storm on Easter Sunday. Nevertheless it was good to spend time with family and have some rest.
    Your Easter eggs look lovely dressed in colourful ribbon.

    I love the pretty ribbons around those Easter eggs.
    The table setting looks so inviting, I hope you had a wonderful Easter.
    I love Easter in Holland with all the goodies we have there, filled little eggs from Jamin and the bakery has so many varieties of yummy breads..
    I miss Holland, snow, rain and all!
