{Clerodendrum Philippinun - Cashmere Bouquet}

One more exotic and highly fragrant beauty I would like to introduce to you. Clerodendrum Philippinum or Cashmere Bouquet. They look like tiny rosebuds and are white with a pinkish blush. Logee's in Connecticut does sell  this variety, see link below post.
Complete with ant, as they sure love the sweet fragrance too!
Even its leaves are beautiful...
Perfect for a small vase; this is ONE stem...
Don't you love this Cashmere Bouquet as they are called?

By the way, yesterday I did forget to add the most beautiful photo we had from our Blue Butterfly Bush. You can view it here: 2004 photo from our exotic Clerondendrum Ugandense - Blue Butterfly Bush

  3. Those flowers are so perfect that they almost don't look real - almost. I wish I could smell the scent you describe. It sounds divine.

Sorry I haven't commented in a while. After the loss we faced, I needed to take a blogging break - but I visit when I can. <3

    1. Dearest Ginger,
This is what happens if you are the son and daughter of a market gardener and when you travel the world you discover its flora and fauna. Logee's Greenhouses have been doing the very same for over one century, collecting from all around the world. So if we know some tropical exotics, they more than likely have them for sale in their collection! They have been a great source for us over the past decades.
Enjoy your week as well, hope no more heavy rain!

These flowers are beautiful I did not know they were Cashmere bouquet. My husband says that they are beautiful. We have a soap by that name in India.

    1. Dearest Munir,
Cashmere bouquet is not their botanical name but a common name. In Europe we more go by the botanical name but here in the USA often they use a common name. But with Google, you can find almost anything. We know this tropical plant source for decades now and they are excellent. A family business for over one century.
      Hugs to you both,
      Mariette

  19. Good Morning Mariette, This is such a pretty plant and to place one stem in a vase is just perfect.
I love an overflowing vase of flowers, but there are too many flowers to distract me.... the whole bouquet is appreciated, but by having just one bloom in a vase this gives me the opportunity to enjoy it's singular beauty.... without distraction.
    Best Wishes
