    Wat een prachtig kussen,en hoe toepasselijk in het interieur in deze dagen.
    Je paperwhites zijn ook zó mooi en geuren vast heerlijk.

    Wij wensen jullie fijne en sfeervolle Kerstdagen en alle goeds in het nieuwe jaar!!!

    Vandaag is onze zoon Stephan jarig,hij en zijn vriendin namen ons met 9 personen afgelopen zaterdag al mee uit eten....en vanavond kwam hij na het werk hier binnen stappen met heerlijk Chinees-Surinaams eten en zaten we gezellig met vieren aan tafel.
    1e Kerstdag komt het hele spul rond de middag hier heen,we drinken koffie met gebak en later op de middag gaan we uit eten,hoef ik deze keer niet in de keuken te staan,roer het hele jaar al in de potten en pannen,wel altijd met veel plezier.

      Van harte gefeliciteerd Stephan met je verjaardag + 1 dag! Lief dat hij Mam een keer uit de keuken weg wist te halen; een keertje lekker genieten en relaxen na een verdrietige vorige Kerst. Jullie genieten maar met z'n allen van een mooie middag samen. Een rijk bezit om zo bij elkaar te kunnen zijn.

      Well, this is a peaceful time of the year and I am working hard at finishing all my scanning of old slides. Making everything digital and listing it by country and year. LOTS of work but I am seeing the end of it within a couple of days.
      Wishing you all the very best and you yourself are a dear friend. We understand each other very well for mutual reasons. Sending you and your husband lots of love and good health so you can make your trips again to visit your dear daughter and the grandchildren in France.

      Thank you and I hope you too had some quiet and peaceful days. Thanks for liking those paperwhites. They do dry out rather quick once placed in a vase as the air-conditioning (heat) is dehydrating them quickly and they are paper thin!
      Funny, I too have small glass kitties from decades ago, in my type tray with all sorts of miniatures inside... What we love deep inside our hearts, we collected forever I guess.

      Sorry for a late reply as I just tonight have finally tackled the scanning of thousands of slides. They are all digital now and I got it done in 2013; my absolute goal!
      We did not do much for Christmas since Pieter was working on the retainer wall and I focused on the scanning; working in the Rose Suite on that project.
      Next Christmas will be more relaxed we hope, even though we enjoyed the delicious Christmas dinner at Ristorante da Maria, followed by Mass at 11:00 PM. That was our Christmas pretty much and we made phone calls with family on Christmas day.
