{Our Bonfire Prunus Persica - Patio Peach}

On March 15, our Bonfire Prunus Persica - Patio Peach, started budding. Husband Pieter did take it out of the greenhouse, where it till than remained sheltered from the weather. Below you see a photo from March 22...
Are these Bonfire Prunus Persica blossoms not lovely?
This is how those buds looked on March 15, just outside of the sheltered greenhouse.
Eager to fully open up!
On March 19, near the greenhouse which is to the left not visible and the pond to the right.
March 21, fully open and looking more white than pink...
This is in front of our Magnolia tree, to give the blossoms some contrast.
Only one day later on March 22, showing already more pink.
On March 24 we did put this pot in the front porch for more shelter against the frost...
Look how our tiles are covered with pollen, that is the season for now.
Closeup and there still remain some white ones, those that opened up latest.
They look so beautiful.
Those long stamens; like eyelashes!
Just a lovely beginning of spring!
Do you have any booming peaches?

This is just an ornamental one for its full blossoms, not for bearing fruit.
Happy weekend to you as well!

It will not be a tall tree but it will grow and that becomes each spring a showcase of pink blossoms.

  7. Enjoy your beautiful Prunus tree. I feel so sorry for you having to put them in a green house. Ours just stay in the ground all year. They certainly give a wonderful show.

You bet we do and also the warmer weather!
Oh, this will stay outside too but it got placed inside the greenhouse because of its many buds and to protect it from the harsh winds. They are happy in Georgia as this is called the Peach State! But this is not so much for a fruit bearing tree but more as ornamental.
Hugs to you and happy weekend.

Let's hope you too will soon get a relief from the long winter.
We got rain today but so glad the men finished the grouting yesterday so those tiles are done.
Happy weekend anyway and sending you hugs.

This species for sure took some intensive breeding for growing that vigorous its many blossoms. The branches are literally covered in them. The final pink color is a deep and beautiful pink indeed.
Wishing you also a lovely weekend and some signs of springs to enjoy.

That lovely color when the blossoms are completely opened is indeed lovely.
It looks like our plants are okay, we're so happy for that and the workers finished grouting the tiles yesterday; in time for the rain today and tomorrow.
We know the Weigela trees and they too are pretty in the spring.
      Hugs and happy weekend!
