{201 Countries Visited - Welcome Saint Barthelemy}

Already on December 9, the 201th Country Visited my humble blog - Welcome to Saint Barthelemy!
This tiny island in the Caribbean, was discovered in 1493 by Christopher COLUMBUS who named it for his brother Bartolomeo, Saint Barthelemy was first settled by the French in 1648. In 1784, the French sold the island to Sweden. France repurchased the island in 1877...

      Grazie! Oh, ho avuto questo da aprile 2010 e avevo dimenticato di aggiungere il MASSIMO numero di paesi. Così ho perso tutto al 10 luglio del 2011. Che quando ho messo questo uno indietro. Per quanto riguarda la tua domanda, invierò il mio prossimo blog su come fare questo con screenshots. Va bene?

    Hello Mariette, I was just discussing how collecting old photographs makes one aware of the world, and the many places in it with distinct personalities. Your amazing 201 countries show that blogging also serves this function, with the added advantage of knowing that many people in those far-flung places have become friends and acquaintances.

      Collecting and studying old photographs is so enriching as it presents a living history to us. Blogging indeed serves the worldwide awareness and hunger for exploring other cultures and far away places. One of its best rewards is indeed the blessing of added friends and acquaintances; bringing people closer together by bridging many borders in a peaceful way...

      Indeed, we are all children of planet earth and with modern communication it looks very easy to connect with as many as 201 countries. A blessing, compared to some 20 years ago as this was unthinkable.
      There will always come chores our way and time is so limited; we are fighting that dilemma daily! Sending special blessings and hugs to my dear and loyal Japanese friend.
