{Our Fragrant 1916 Heirloom Thalia Narcissus & Spooky-boy}

On March 17, I could make some lovely photos from our fragrant heirloom 1916 Thalia Orchid Narcissus, accompanied by our Spooky-boy. 
They really look like Orchids these Thalia Narcissus!
Not that many flowers this year but still beautiful with the blue Ipheion in the front.

Beautiful blue stars; Ipheion is a lovely spring flower bulb.
Our felines live in paradise!
Spooky-boy is a dreamer...

    Oh that regal looking Spooky boy for sure in living in paradise! We always thought that of our beloved Pug Ben too...so spoiled and he thought everything was his too, lol!
    Your Narcissus blooms are gorgeous and with the touches of blue of the Ipheon it simply is lovely dearest Mariette.

      Yes, Spooky-boy is really in paradise, all of our felines are so happy in our garden and wood garden. Sure, our pets are the 'rulers' and they claim their home more than we do but that's why we love them so much!
      Yes, both of us are very well and happy; enjoying this beautiful season of spring.

      Haha, that's a Narcissus meant to be for you! Can you imagine this is an heirloom that's now 99 years old? Beautiful and oh so fragrant too. Not too many blooms this year but at least some to enjoy.
      Spooky-boy followed me all through the garden when I made many photos and I had to capture him with the blue Ipheion flowers.

    Witte narcissen zie je niet zo vaak en de zwarte kat past er goed bij. De katten hebben inderdaad een paradijselijke omgeving met dat bos.

      Ja inderdaad zijn ze zeldzaam in puur wit maar dit 99 jaar oude heirloom soort Thalia vinden we zó mooi. Veel loof dit jaar maar weinig bloemen en we weten niet waarom?! Toch nog wat om van te genieten en de poezen zijn in de zevende hemel. Die spelen graag verstoppertje tussen het loof van de narcissen.

      Thank you and I'm so glad to share them. All those blossoms do last but a good week or so and they're gone... but we enjoy this show case each spring. Happy time when all of us can go outdoors again. Spooky-boy is a very shiny and silky cat and his brother Bandido even more so. They enjoy their paradise and we love it when they're happy.

      Spooky-boy is an exotic beauty, guess he's oriental with very long legs and rather slender build. We enjoyed these lovely spring flowers just before the pollen did set in, a nasty time but in the coming days I get we get rain and it will wash it all away. Sadly that your growing season is so short lived but that's the negative aspect from living in a desert.

      Dank je wel, het is gewoon een prachtig blauw tapijt met alle Ipheions in bloei. De helderwitte orchidee narcissen steken er zo mooi tegen af. Ja, Spooky is ook een hele mooi poes, heel lange benen en mooi sierlijk. Maar om dat allemaal te kunnen fotograferen valt niet mee bij poezen!
