{KLM Delft Blue House 95}

When my dear friend Mariëlle, did come to visit us in early May, she also gifted us with the latest of Delftware houses by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. So now we have the series complete with this number 95!
{Royal Dutch Airlines 91 years on October 7}
HEINEKEN'S BIERBROUWERIJ

This number 95, is the Heineken Brewery in Amsterdam and that did celebrate its 150th anniversary last year.
It proudly resides on the narrow ledge of our veranda windows.

On October 7, is the 96th Birthday of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and the next house will be presented to the public...

Very interesting short video about several Canal Houses and the Heineken Brewery in Amsterdam, The Netherlands

At KLM-HUISJES.NL you can purchase the entire collection.
We both were lucky that we got lots of upgrades to KLM's World Business Class, while being International Consultants.

    1. Dearest Sarah,
Yes, we used to get these whenever we got an upgrade for a segment of our flight to Jakarta, all the way from Atlanta via Amsterdam, Delhi, Singapore, Jakarta and later non-stop Amsterdam to Singapore.
They are quite valuable and can be bought as complete set as well, following the last link in my post with KLM Huisjes.
      Sending you hugs,
      Mariette

  3. Hello Mariette, The ceramic house are very cute--I was wondering, are these boxes, or just figurines?

    1. Dearest Jim,
These are actually gifts from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines to their Business Class customers. A drink, of Dutch gin inside a Delft blue house. Closed off with a cork and sealed with a wax cap over it. We removed its cork and wax and emptied them. So that's what it is. Exact replicas of existing historical houses and other buildings.
      Hugs,
      Mariette

  7. That's a cute collection, and you have 95 ceramic houses? I went past that brewery in Amsterdam, but we didn't go in, not beer drinkers...

  8. Dearest Mariette; Oh, how wonderful you could add this ”the Heineken Brewery in Amsterdam" to your collection♪ And I really enjoyed the tour with video, Dear Friend♡♡♡

Thank you SO much for your thoughtful comments. I think we were lucky not having too much damage :-) Wishing to find the cause or the factor for my face trouble as doctor hasn't been a much help(^^;)

Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*

  10. Lieve Mariette,

      Liefs,
      Mariette

  15. What a gorgeous collection my friend. I wanted all the Dutch houses I saw once at the European store but they were expensive together. I wanted them all, about five, because of course, it was once in a blue moon here on sale and I haven't seen them again. Oh well.
    I love them Mariette.
