{Our Double Orange Hibiscus}

All summer long we have had some gorgeous double orange hibiscus.
From our bay window we can enjoy them, starting at breakfast time...
Pieter did rescue this beauty at the local Kmart store, where it had been knocked down, soil out of the pot and looking limp...
For only $ 4.00 + tax, it came home with him.
Got a bigger pot, new potting soil and LOOK how rewarding it has been to us.
Don't you like their happy faces?
Depending on the light, the color even changes...
What a joy to have!

    Gorgesus double orange Hibisus. you are at break fast time. Pieter did reseue the beautiful local Kmart store. it had been knocked down out of the pot and looking limp.look how rewarding it has been to yours.

    Isn't it wonderful how a little TLC can make a plant thrive. The orange is a particularly lovely flower. I always think double hibiscus look like they are made of tissue paper.

    Beautiful colour hibiscus, I don't think I had ever seen that colour.
    You both must have green fingers as all your flowers are beautiful.

    What a beautiful hibiscus! I love the story how it got rescued by your husband Pieter and has grown such beautiful blossoms. They sure look very happy :-) Love the orange color very much!

    ich mag die Hibiskusblüte auch so gerne und gerade die gefüllten gefallen mir immer am Allerbesten. Das war wirklich ein günstiger Einkauf und nun hat er ein schönes Zuhause gefunden.

      Strange that in Spain you can't have them... Here in Georgia we too have to put those pots inside the greenhouse during winter but the climate for the remainder of the year is perfect!
