{RICED CAULIFLOWER}

A blogger friend from the UK, Daphne from the blog: Ivy, Phyllis and Me! posted on September 10 of 2014: CAULIFLOWER RICE ←click on hyperlink so I had to try this.
What a surprise to find at Trader Joe's already Riced Cauliflower!
Easy for browning the onion with garlic in olive oil, adding the Riced Cauliflower and done!
Added here Quinoa from Costco Wholesale and Beef-less Ground Beef from Trader Joe's
Quick and healthy supper!

Have you already tried Riced Cauliflower?

  1. I always make Coliflower rice as I try not to eat carbs as I watch my weight constantly and yes, I eat lots of quinoa instead of rice too.
    Love it that you can just buy it ready at TJ's.

    1. Dearest Jim,
      There hardly is a difference in texture! It tastes good, only in smaller pieces.
      Hugs,

  8. I've never seen riced cauliflower before but that's something I definitely need to check out :-) I have tried mashed cauliflower as substitute for mashed potatoes and it was pretty good. The riced cauliflower sounds very convenient and easy to prepare! Thank you always for sharing healthy foods with us, Mariette!

  9. No I haven't tried it but both of my daughters eat it all of the time. Apparently it is so popular at TJ's that it is hard to keep in stock.

  10. I make my own cauliflower rice, I don't think we have packaged cauliflower rice here in Perth.

  14. This sounds great Mariette. Perfect for those of us who have to watch our carbs. Our Trader Joes is moving to a new location and expanding, so when they open I'll have to look for it.
