Speckie Girl Magnet

Oh, when you just have been away for a couple of days... Kitties can give you that LOOK!

So did Speckie-Girl after I'd come home - she remained my MAGNET! On my desk, staring at me like saying Mom you don't go away AGAIN?!

She has such perfect white whiskers and eyebrow hair!

Thanks for your visit and comment.

  1. Hello Mariette, I once lived with a cat for a while, but he was very independent. While he liked company, he was non-judgmental and was quite happy left to his own devices.

    1. Dearest Jim,
All cats have different characters, just like humans. Ours I must say, are very much attached to us. We just got home last night from our 7-night trip to the Rocky Mountains in Canada and they acted all six like magnets!
      Hugs,
      Mariette

  4. That is definitely a 'look' from Speckie-Girl - saying don't do that again Mariette.

Yes, that was her 'look' and that's how she looked at me again when we came home last night from our adventure on the Rocky Mountaineer in Canada...

  6. Dearest Mariette,
We call it the kitty stink eye when we do something that does not meet with our furbies approval....such as reading, working or anything that does not involve petting or feeding them. 🤭

Well, that is probably the best way of putting it: 'the kitty stink eye'.
She and her siblings gave us all the stink eye coming home from our Rocky Mountaineer adventure last night... They're all magnets today and for some days to come!
      Hugs,

Speckie Girl did show that exact look again to me when we got home last night.
Only 7 nights without them but they KNOW and fear that you leave them again soon.

Yeah, we walked in the door around 10:00 PM last night and we found six such magnets that wanted to be with us.
Only seven nights without them but they MISS their humans.
The Rocky Mountains were fun and now back home my MAC at least lets me comment. You maybe right about the latest update. Have not done it here, it is waiting...

She and her siblings are perfect ones indeed.
Yeah, we just returned from the Rocky Mountains National Parks but did not encounter any of the Cougars that reside there, as well as some 8 Grizzly bears in each of the two parks. We both love nature but having your own 'mini' tigers and panthers is also fun.
      Hugs,

  13. What a beauty she is! I bet that all is well now, and you have been forgiven. There is a Russian lady living in my New York City apartment building who puts her cat on a lease and takes him out regularly as one would a dog. Most cats would hate it, but hers doesn't seem to mind.

Haha, she is in the proces of forgiving me once more as we just walked in last night from our adventure in the Rocky Mountains, Canada. We learned so much from one of your posts about Princess Louise!
Oh, here in Dublin I have had one cat that I walked on a leash, might have to show some pictures one day. They are super smart and can be taught almost anything!

    1. Dearest Katie Isabella,
You sure could well be! Speckie is from the area of Waynesville, NC where we got her at the Haywood County Animal Shelter... She did go on a long drive home with us and next day I got paralyzed and ended up in the hospital. Barty actually raised her that first and important week! She is his copy-cat.
