Gosh, they're beautiful! We have some weeks yet before they'll bloom here. They're so short-lived that I always try to get out and take pics of the blossoms.
Your temps are a bit high for my liking, though! We'll have it in July - August, with lots of humidity too, but I can't function well in that heat. Thank goodness for a/c. LOL.
Dearest Kim, Thank you and yes, after a rain shower this morning, several petals are already underneath... Today is not good for photos; too cloudy and dark! Glad I grabbed my iPhone yesterday before we went biking, afterwards the light would not have been good. Haha, you cannot compare your summer with our spring temperatures, not humid at all now and that's so lovely about it. I'm born for the tropics I guess, I almost died when being one week at work in North Dakota with -40℉ or -40℃ as it strangely happens to be the same for once. We enjoy and trying to share some of it with others like you! Hugs, Mariette
Hello Mariette, You are having a beautiful spring moment in your yard. It is springlike here too, but I do not follow the local flowers much. In Ohio it is still a little to early for flowers, but I always enjoyed exploring the woods for the early spring wildflowers. --Jim
Dearest Jim, Yes, that was a rather glorious moment captured in time. Ohio will be the same as in The Netherlands I guess, we saw them bloom in April. Found some Huckleberry blossoms (wild blue berry) on our walk with a friend and the dogs last week. Bees were very active and it warms ones soul seeing nature unfold once again. Hugs, Mariette
Querida Antónia, Esto es una alegría cada año ver sus cogollos desarrollarse. Lo vemos desde nuestra zona de ventanal durante el desayuno. Abrazos, Mariette
What gorgeous flowers, Mariette! Up here in Kennesaw, we're seeing crocuses and daffodils, but not much else yet. You are indeed enjoying some south Georgia temperatures. Blessings!
Dearest Martha Jane, Sure, you are a couple of hours north of us and it makes a difference. When I drove to Macon this morning, there was such a haze of red from the budding leaves of the swamp maples. They're each year the very first and then the redbuds, dogwoods and so on. Makes me happy. Hugs, Mariette
Dear Mariette - we have also been enjoying beautiful weather too, it has felt almost like summer. The flowers are opening up so quickly across the garden that cannot keep pace with them. Your Magnolia is a splendid vision of pink - Spring days really lift up the spirits.
Dearest Rosemary, This is a bliss and it makes all the difference in the world for having light inside the house and blossoms to look at. Spring will fast start unfolding itself. You too live in a mild area, enjoy the tiny miracles. Hugs, Mariette
Mine is budding but won't bloom for a while. Daffodils are opening though - never thought I'd be so anxious for spring as I am this year. Cute kitty - does he make his home with you? Mary -
Dearest Mary, You are also several hours north of us and that is having its impact on the spring-timing. Spring is rather late this year, and all of us were so longing for it! Yes, she is our tiniest of four (originally five) siblings that were born in our home. They're family! Hugs, Mariette
Beste Willy, Ja, een mooi gezicht nu in de lente. Jullie zijn nog wat achter omdat wij op hoogte van Tunesië zitten en dat maakt iets verschil... Liefs, Mariette
Dearest Janey, Well, we had pretty weather but the temps went down and came with rain. Today is nice though! Don't we all long for the spring blossoms to show up and for lifting our moods?! Hugs, Mariette

Mariette magnolia jest przepiękna, tesknie za tymi kwiatami. U mnie będą kwitnąć za kilka tygodni. Kotek ślicznie wygląda. Pozdrawiam serdecznie.
