Our Home Pressure Washed by EXCEED Wash Solutions LLC

It was about  time to have our home pressure washed.
Living in a subtropical climate causes a lot of mildew...
Such a neat logo with droplets all over his car!

On November 16
Our Fiberglass Window Boxes were lifted off the retainer wall before...
We'd moved them into the garage, out of the way for the pressure washing job.
Of course all our kitties were in hiding due to the noise...!

  1. Hi Mariette! Really successful painting in the car. That's a good and quick way to do it with a pressure washer. Does it damage the painting of the house? We have cleaned the exterior of the house with a soft brush.

    1. Dearest Anne,
The car got really artfully done but it is not painted on.
No, the pressure washing does not damage the painting of the house!
      Hugs,
      Mariette

  2. Dear Mariette!
Refreshing, washing the house is necessary. This is the basis of our well-being.

Yes, taking good care of our home is a must.
Being cozy inside we have to make sure that the roof and walls are all in good condition.
Happy 2nd Advent to you and yours.
      Hugs,

    1. Dearest Victor,
Especially such a powerful one gets the job done very well.
Fun it is not as the person gets partly soaking wet, even with wearing a suit... water finds its way.

  5. Hello Mariette, Owning a free-standing house incurs maintenance obligations like this, and it is easy to forget them or put them off, but ultimately it pays off in a more enjoyable and valuable house. Also, doing regular maintenance such as this allows you to inspect your house to spot small problems before they become major. Still, despite all this trouble, I would gladly exchange my apartment for a regular house, preferable with some land around it!

    1. Dearest Jim,
You are so right, it takes a lot of work in the upkeep of the grounds and house but we both treasure living here.
We have lived on the 5th floor in an apartment in Italy, in an apartment in Pennsylvania for one winter but having your own garden and being able to walk around your home is a treasure!
      Hugs,
      Mariette

  6. All you say here regarding home ownership is so true Mariette - and although I often moan and groan to Bob about selling up (he won't!) and buying an easier to care for one-level, no garden condo, I have to say being here during these years of COVID have been a blessing. I can't imagine not having land to walk around, my porch and gazebo to sit in, and even the chores to do! Right now it's hard for me with the back issues but I know I will get better eventually!
House washing is important - your recent one is great, we will probably address ours come spring - house and driveway will need it by then.
Hugs for the week ahead - it's good to be home again as the millions of leaves fall down around us, and this morning they are really flying past the windows in a still breeze!

    1. Dearest Mary,
Yes, our own private garden and spots for sitting to observe birds and garden critters is oh so important. Being locked up inside is something we could not live with.
      Hugs,

  7. My sister and brother-in-law in Southeastern Ohio just had their home power washed! She told me it looks brand new. I'm certain yours does as well. Have a great week.

Yes, it looks quite different but we have the exterior painted anyway. Every eight years is not exaggerated.

Era solo un hombre con un excelente equipo. Sí, nuestros gatitos simplemente van y se esconden en nuestro jardín de madera adyacente.

  10. What a great idea. Leaves your house looking like it's been freshly painted! I need to do this at my house... not so much for the mildew, but the dust and grime accumulate over time.

    1. Dearest Peter,
Yes, it made quite a difference already before being painted.
The white trim is done mostly but we're waiting on them to come back for the rest of it, in Golden Mist. Hoping by the end of the year it will be DONE.
You sure live in a different climate but nevertheless things get dirty as well.
