9/11 BOATLIFT—EVERYONE HELPED EVERYONE—MORALLY THE RIGHT WAY TO GO

Did any of you know about this story of civic heroism
9/11 of 2001...
An ARMADA of HEROES that ONLY followed THEIR MORAL COMPASS!!!

This video got uploaded on September 7: BOATLIFT, An Untold Tale of 9/11 Resilience. I feel that I have to share, as the media never did bring this out. Tom Hanks narrates the epic story of the 9/11 boatlift that evacuated half a million people from the stricken piers and seawalls of Lower Manhattan. This evacuation in only 9 hours, was one of the largest and fastest in history- far fewer (300,000) were evacuated from Dunkirk, France during WWII over 9 days...
Produced and directed by Eddie Rosenstein. Eyepop Productions, Inc.

  1. I certainly will make a point of watching this, Mariette; I do recall hearing about it back when it happened.
What an emotional week this has been, and I feel that we can't pray enough for America.
    Blessings!

    1. Dearest Martha Jane,
Those heroes need lots of kudos for what they DID. Loved their saying of morally the right way to go.
A very emotional week indeed and our country needs lots of prayers for getting back to a nation of unity and one of high morals!

  6. I saw this about 2 weeks after 9/11 ... still have it saved in my bookmarks after all these years. It was shown on several websites. Too bad people nowadays are not what they were when our country was attacked.

    1. Dearest Diana,
It is worth repeating and especially for the young(er) generations.
Schools have taken out so much of history and Christianity, so with that the society leans to a world without any morals.
And anybody is wondering why we’re seeing your democracy in jeopardy; look at that equation you don’t have faith—you don’t have morality. You don’t have morality—you don’t have democracy.
      Hugs,
      Mariette
