{Amaretti Hearts & Rose - Love - Romance}


We had such a lovely and sunny day, that I could make photos on the balcony! Maybe it does cheer up all those that have miserable and cold weather. Just trying to send some nice things your way. Last night I did bake a batch of 30 Amaretti hearts (my own version of the Amaretti di Saronno cookies from Italy) in my Demarle Flexipan small heart tray. My oven is but a small European size Miele of 24". To put the Flexipan tray into the oven you also need an aluminum perforated baking sheet. Both are available at Demarle at Home via their consultant locator or on line, just click the hyperlink. It is a very famous French brand and I love to work with it. Great idea for Valentine's Day and I did use the cookies to take to our friends' home tonight, where we got invited over for dinner. 



Today we had about the same temperature as for Saturday, tomorrow. That really makes one HAPPY to feel the sun!

    Hallo mariette,
    tolle Idee, Amaretti in einer Form zu backen. Und was für zauberhafte Porzellansachen du wieder gefunden hast. Italien ist wirklich das Land der schönen Sachen.Die Tassen sind wirklich toll, so modern und trotzdem romantisch.

    Nou Mariette!! Jij bent al helemaal into Valentijn lijkt het wel!! WIj hebben hier ook lekker een winters zonnetje, wel koud buiten maar dit is zó'n heerlijk weer!!! Je vergeet 1 ding in deze post...the recipe!!!;).
    Mooie momenten met relatief kleine dingen(lekker koekje, mooi kopje, ....)WE WANT MORE;)!!!

    Hi Mariette, so glad you have a sunshiney day. The sun has been hiding for days here, mostly hazy. I love those rose cups! They are so unusual and very prettyf. And the cookies sound delicious and look perfectly scrumptious. I baked yesterday too. And have been cooking up a storm and making lots of messes today.     Al helemaal in de Valentijn stemming! De koekjes zien er heerlijk uit en leuk verpakt. Ook de kop en schotel vindt ik erg apart.
