{Do you have a Prunus triloba double almond?}

  • Does anyone of you have such a lovely almond tree with double flowers? They look like they came off an advertisement for some French milled soap...  It is pure bliss to watch this little shrub perform with such vigor each spring. At Durio Nursery in Louisiana you were able to find them under their availability button (top left) and you will see Prunus glandulosa ‘Rosea’ (pink flowering almond) when you scroll down. They're our favorite nursery where we got numerous shrubs, vines and trees over the years. I'd like to hear from you if you have one like this, just drop me a note.

  • From our bay window we can view this, starting with breakfast each morning. This photo was taken on March 15 when it was in full bloom.

  1. Such a lovely pale pink color. We don't exactly have blue skies here yet, but the sun is shining. There is a layer of sand on everything - inside and out, so much work today but first enjoying my morning cuppa. Have a super Saturday. Tammy
