{OUR NARCISSUS ACTAEA A POETICUS VARIETY ~ Heirloom 1927}

On February 27, I did show you our Narcissus Cragford in my blog: {SPRING 2011 IS GRADUATING}. Now I want to introduce to you our Narcissus Actaea, a Poeticus variety. Pieter took these two photos on March 14. Each day something else is blooming on our estate. It is big, and you have to walk the entire property to find the new wonders. White Flower Farm does sell this gem!

Look at the very special stamens inside its tiny cup!

  3. Yes, beautiful are not they? Here we call that kind in Dutch "Pheasant Eyes"
    They bloom here until April, it's one of the later species in the Netherlands.
