{Winter Blooming Fragrant Daffodils!}

What a surprise for having a little vase with winter blooming fragrant daffodils! This photo is from January 7 and they were already blooming in our garden for a full week, before we brought them inside. So again, love to share them with you, sans frangrance, as I cannot capture that on camera.

They are small but oh so pretty. Look how they shimmer in the sun light!
Proudly they show themselves on January 7! Unreal for the time of year...
Any winter bloomer is welcomed with open arms as it brightens one's day!
Here they are on December 30, still in our garden...
These daffodils start out as pure white beauties with a yellow corona (trumpet)...

  1. Oh my goodness!!! I love this and was peeking around my own garden this past week to see my own daffodils and tulips showing their tips throw the dirt.

I guess you are a little further south than I am so I will have to wait a bit more.

Thank you for brightening my day Mariette!

  3. Hoi Nichtjelief,

Wat mooi he!!

    Groetjes Janny

  18. The are truly a breathe of sunshine!! Even if only on my computer screen, it brings me happiness that they are real and you are able to enjoy their beauty (and fragrance). Everything here remains under a thin blanket of snow. And Mr. weather man is calling for winter's bitter cold and snow storm to arrive like a lion tomorrow. He (weatherman ) has been wrong before let's hope this is one of those times!!... Blessings, xo Celia (HHL)
