{Back Home from Curaçao}

For my MIA (Missing In Action) the explanation is, that we had left the country. On my iPhone I was only very limited for visiting some blogger friends. I've learned one more thing, that on iPhone you can't even leave a comment for those that use the Word Verification... Another reason for taking it OFF; see Word Verification is Time WASTE! ←(click it) for how to.
As for our tropical vacation in the Caribbean, just one photo for you to see where we left after eight lovely nights. Our view was grand and so were the many walks and strolls through the huge botanical gardens of the Hyatt Regency's 27 acres or 10.9 hectares property. Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort Curaçao ←(click it) is a gem on the south side of the island, hurricane free and only 35 miles north of Venezuela. Next month it will have its 2nd birthday. We both were in Curacao, in August of 1988 so that was a long lapse of time.
Every day it was 29°C with 24°C night temperature or 84°F - 75°F.
Great for swimming in one of the many pools.
We had showers during the first nights and that made the gardens extra lush.
For the rest it was very pleasant due to the wind and some clouds.
The last night there was a wedding on the beach...

Wanted to mention the arrival of my 925 silver Giovanni Raspini Alphabet Angel Letter for Nani from Macedonia.
She was the winner of my International Giveaway that ended on February 4.
Sure enough this piece of jewelry has traveled a long time to reach its destiny but it looks like the guardian angel took care of itself!
Nani has graciously posted about it.
Thanks for the mention and you just enjoy this great piece.
For those of you that want one like it, you can find it at Spectrenoir on line: ←just click it.

  4. Bonjour Mariette. Curacao, eh? This sounds divine! I have never even thought about flying there. I guess I will have to look it up now ;-) It sounds as if you had a wonderful vacation. Thank you for the tip about word verification. The two-word format has been driving me crazy. I have just updated mine as you suggested. You will have to tell me if it worked when you stop by chez moi ;-) By the way, are you using the new Blogger interface, or the old one? I noticed the Comment section looks different on many blogs these days and I like it. A bientot, Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)

  16. Grazie Mariette...

    p.s Conratulations to the winner
