{Friends' son, Ben Lovett, won most awards with Ghost of Old Highways!}

What a week... Tough enough coming back from a 9-day vacation in Paradise on the island of Curaçao and catching up on LOTS of things. But on top of all that, I had to have the Hard Drive replaced. That problem occurred when we'd gotten back from Macon on Sunday, February 18, from the Macon Mix International Short Film Festival where Ben Lovett, ←(click it) the son of our dear friends, won the most awards with his short film Ghost of Old Highways, as he did win before in Charlotte, NC. He's also having an Australian Premiere at the Byron Bay Film Festival. Due to my PC problems and limited time before the trip, I am a bit late for posting this but anyway here it is!

Both of us enjoyed this International Short Film Festival so much and we are very proud of the Ben Lovett! Knowing him since he was about 5 years of age. That is always special!
He is the same age as our foster daughter Anita.

This short movie is such a burst of Action, Music and even Historic Information...

    Ik heb even bijgelezen! Zo te zien hadden jullie een paradijselijke vacantie!!Het ziet er heel mooi uit!

    Leuk natuurlijk als je weer Nederlands hoort spreken om je heen! Al zal het wel een ander Nederlands zijn, als wat wij hier horen!!!

    erst mal herzlichen Glückwunsch an ihn für die Auszeichnung. Es macht ihn sicher froh und stolz und ich kann mir vorstellen, dass ihr es sehr genossen habt, da dabei zu sein. Der Film sieht wirklich spannend aus.

    Jij bent weer lekker uitgerust!! leuke vakantie heb je gehad..
    En wat betreft onze tafel, die is 92 cm breed, dus dat is wel 12 cm meer dan 80 cm, is goed om te doen met dekschalen hoor.
    We hebben gelukkig in de keuken, maar ook in de woonkamer ruimte genoeg om grote tafels neer te zetten, dat is fijn..
    Ik heb graag ruimte om me heen..ben ook niet anders gewent, kan ook wel eens een nadeel zijn hoor..
