As promised yesterday, here is the sequel of our Epiphyllum oxypetalum buds, now in the evening. Also called Night Blooming Cereus and Orchid Cactus.
Only five hours have passed since the big budding out started. By now, at 21:00 o'clock, I know 100% certain that around midnight the show will be spectacular. Just have a look at the evening sight:
Not easy to photograph in the dark of the evening...
Amazing that the tiny buds that were lagging behind only six days ago, have completely caught up!
Tomorrow I will show the full show of exotic blooms as they completely opened up after midnight!
They look almost identical...
Slowly they start opening up now... So now you already can tell what color it will be I guess...?
Please do come back tomorrow for the final sequel of these spectacular blooms.

That's amazing.
ReplyDeleteI have a question for you that you might know, what do you recommend as the best type of tea to drink. I went to Ireland years ago and they had great, strong tea with milk and sugar. What do you recommend?
Lorraine
Dearest Lorraine,
DeleteThe British way of drinking tea, is with milk. We had that often in India while doing our consulting work and I loved it very much. As you said, with strong tea! Instead of sugar, if you wish to drink it sweet, I would recommend you use Agave Nectar instead. For years now I drink mine without anything in it and enjoy it. But that is due to being diabetes type 2.
Enjoy your tea; your way!
Mariette
That is so interesting how they only open at night! I can't wait to see the next set of photos!
