{Dutch Summer Temperatures in Georgia for January}

Contrary to 2011, when we had SNOW, we do have a very mild week of January. That could be considered a Dutch summer with our temperatures at present! For seeing our home and garden in the snow, view my previous post; links are below.
This image showing 71.6ºF or 22ºC, I captured shortly before noon as you can see to the right...
Even at 6:03 PM or 18:03 it is still 22ºC...
Wow, today was even WARMER than predicted. We just got back from Atlanta and at 5:08 PM or 17:08 it is still 24ºC or 75.2ºF
High was 26ºC or 78.8ºF
Anyone wanting to swap places with us?

  3. Yes, it's been unusually warm for couple of days here in Georgia!! It's nice but I kind of hope normal cold weather comes back...after all, it's January!

  4. Yes, would love to swap! My facebook status today at 10:25AM - Currently 32.6°C and climbing. The heat is stifling! Air conditioners are being overworked that's for sure. Two nights ago we were eating ice-blocks at midnight to try and cool down.

  5. Dearest Mariette.....

    I am a summer person, so yes! I would swap, gladly! It's 38 F, a gray, windy, rainy day. Not terribly cold but dankly penetrating which is typical for this time of year in southern New England!

    Enjoy the sun........*s*

  7. Our temps have dropped into the high 30s at night and it feels so cold since we don't have central heat and these concrete buildings don't have any insulation. Will definitely be getting out another blanket for the bed as I can't sleep when I am cold. Sending warm wishes your way, Tammy
