Hello Mariette, This is a wonderful, vivid photo. The ant reminds me of those Dutch still-lifes that have insects hidden among the fruits and flowers in order to deliver symbolic messages.

DeleteKlopt en vrij onverwacht ook maar de koorts is weg en ook de pijn en nu elke dag een beetje beter. Komt goed! Mooi zonnig weer en lekker warm dus dat is een bonus.

DeleteYes, I sure am on the slow road to recovery and the pain is nearly all gone.
That must have been like a dream to have a huge pink Rose of Sharon like this. My Dad is also quite successful in growing all our varieties in huge bushes. But here in the South it always is a struggle for life. Poor soil with no water-holding capacity.

With such a lovely flower to look at, it does lift my spirits and I'm on the mend. Just got a haircut and a shampoo at the salon... Feels great!
