{Our Robinia pseudoacacia - Black Locust after the rain}

In April we did have still lots of rain, like at the end of March while we were in Arizona.
Not so positive for a lot of blossoms...
Our Robinia pseudoacacia - Black Locust after the rain...
Husband Pieter could make this photo in the afternoon on April 15.
Full of rain drops...
Funny thing was that the tree only had blossoms on one side!
Weeds alongside the creek grow very well in all the rain!
The neighboring tree is the Acer Negundo Kelly's Gold Yellow Box Elder
At the moment we suffer a severe drought...

Such type of blossoms are always pretty looking, like wisteria and such.
We desperately need rain, some trees already look like they will die.
      Hugs,

  4. Hello Mariette, Although rain can beat down the blossoms, I love walking in the yard or in nature after a rain, when there seems to be an overall calm, and everything is fresh and dripping from the recent shower.

Yes, you are very right about that and it's especially for now a dream as we are having such a drought. Nature can be rough at times and we have to try to make the best out of it.
      Kindest regards,
      Mariette

      Mariette

  10. Your blossoms are very lovely. Looks like they do great in the rain. We have been having lots of rain this year, but it's got very dry since last week or so. We had a bit of shower and it was a relief! I hope some rain will move in your area, too. Have a wonderful day, Mariette!
