{Gardenia Passion}

On May 28, I had that many Gardenias from the garden that I could fill up my Centerpiece Cream Color on Cream Color by Wedgwood
It was again like a dream...
No wonder that Annick Goutal in 1989 created the eau de perfume: Gardénia Passion!
How much I do love those greenish buds before they fully open up!
The entire length is 12.5" or 32 cm—quite a beautiful vase!
Knowing its total length also gives you a feeling of the large size of these gardenias.
Here the scorched grass is not visible; the green looks far better as backdrop.
If we are lucky, we might see some gardenias again in November...
But for now, let's enjoy them!

    How breathtakingly beautiful your blooms are and the scent must be intoxicating. My dear daughter carried Gardenias in her bridal bouquet. I love the cream colour with the shiny green leaves Happy week enjoy jeanette

    Very pretty. I never cut branches from my bushes of jasmine. I just pluck the blooms off. Maybe I should be doing it differently. The blooms are little but, despite the heat, my little plants keep on producing. Have a good day. Tammy

    Hi Mariette, your gardenias are beautiful! I love how you display them in the cream vase.
    Eau de perfume Gardenia Passion must have a very sweet scent, but I bet the real flowers smell so much better :-)

    Love gardenias . There was a bush of gardenias growing just outside of my bedroom window as a child . Needless to say my room smelled lovely

    Um die Gardenie "beneide" ich Dich ja - und dieser unvergleichliche Duft! Aber bei uns wachsen die einfach nicht, nicht einmal im Haus! Dafür braucht es die passenden Bedingungen. Himmlisch!!!
