{Ixora 2015}

On July 3, I made these photos from our blooming Ixora...
An ant is crawling on top of its sweet flowers, snacking on some nectar I guess.
And something even bigger - a caterpillar with long hair!
As long as they don't eat the entire plant, that is fine!

    This plant is blooming wonderful. Caterpillars , they mostly eat the leaves, the hairy one looks pretty 😊
    We have tun Green ones in the fresh Rose leaves and they have eateb them...

  6. Love flower, I too get lots of those caterpillars in vegetable garden but they eat a lot and we're left with vegetables full of holes!

  7. Onder de naam Faja Lobi ken ik deze prachtige bloem in vuur rode kleur en kwam hem op Sumatra tegen.

  9. Oh wow, that caterpillar has got seriously long hair! Your ixora is beautiful. I love the sweet orange colors :-) The flower looks a bit like hydrangea to me but maybe clearly different for those who know plants well, like you!
