{Summer Bliss on our Balcony - Indian Summer}

On September 5, we snapped these photos on the balcony.
The lawn has seldom been this green; true Summer Bliss!
It makes one happy to see a lush garden!
Wearing my green Marc Cain top and green Escada stretch cotton skirt.
We do enjoy our Vintage Woodworks balustrades out of polyurethane. 
Looking at our felines, down on the driveway...
My shoes are also Escada.
Wearing my silver hair barrettes from Bali, Indonesia.
Fond memories!
Showing you my long(er) hair as I have it short now!

    You look wonderful Mariette! So those posts don't need to be painted? How nice! Our all-wood deck is so much work.

      Thank you very much for your kind words!
      Yes, these balustrade posts still need to be painted in your preferred color but they never ever will rot and that is the biggest advantage. It is a lot of work indeed but on this polyurethane it will last a lot longer too. Only needs cleaning, here in the South we get lots of mildew.

    Lovely green grass brings memories of summer.
    We had a real frost last night; it's time to dig the dahlias! It's supposed to warm up later in the week so we may have a real indian summer.

    Maybe it's the reflection from your skirt that is making the grass look greener. Or is it the other way around? Ha! Wow! So very very green! I miss seeing that color around here. The greens here are drab, definitely not bright and crisp like that. I keep debating on whether I should cut my hair shorter. Have a good day!

    Het gras bij de buren lijkt altijd groenen;-))

    Jij staat al net zo blij te stralen als mijn kleindochter met nieuwe kleren aan op haar feest toen ze vorige week 16 jaar werd,
    met een groot verschil: ze wil niet op de foto die schoonheid.........
    .........zal de leeftijd zijn.

      Yes, this photo is from the end of summer, taken on September 5. We still have warm and sunny weather but cooler nights as the fall is beginning. But our area is kind of subtropical, if we're lucky we have this for quite some weeks to come. Our so-called Indian Summer.
      So you are having a very wet spring... We had plenty of water through the summer as well, hence the very green lawn and garden.

    Da fröstelt es mich, liebe Mariette, denn bei uns ist es scho´n viel zu kalt, um so nackig herumzulaufen. Das Grün Deines Rockes paßt sich in das Bild des grünen Rasens perfekt ein.
