{J BAR D Farm in Dublin, Georgia}

On the road to our dear friends, we pass by an impressive gate; that of the J BAR D Farm in Dublin, GA.
On July 31, I did stop to make these photos to share with my readers.
Stepping a bit back...
A view to the left over the vast farm area
And again to the right
Just across the road were hay bales, just harvested.
As well as dramatic clouds on this summer day.
Hope you enjoyed these rural images from our State of Georgia

  7. Sometimes I think I was meant to live in a peaceful, rural place. Beautiful pictures, Mariette. Of course, I would miss my seat at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Opera season starts for us this Saturday, Oct. 1st, with "Don Giovanni." What a wonderful way to start the season with Mozart.

    Cheers, my dear friend,

  10. Nice open space with nothing to block the views. I'm glad that farms once were so big and that families have held on to the land. Otherwise, it would be parceled off and built up in no time at all.
