Happy Hibiscus Pot Plant

During the summer months it is ALL about keeping your plants alive!
Let me show you one very Happy Residence on our Patio.
Now this is a Happy Hibiscus Pot Plant!
Love its color against our Benjamin Moore Golden Mist paint.
The Fiberglass Window Boxes on our Kitchen Bay Window are filled with a variety of cream colored Petunias.
But they don't look the same at the moment...
This Happy Hibiscus has the perfect color for our home!

Are you enjoying your summer and your garden?

Thanks for your visit and comment.

    1. Dear Jim,
      Thank you for your visit.
We have enjoyed our summer as we took a 4-night cruise on the Mississippi, New Orleans round trip.
Even though with heavy rain in the afternoons, all excursions in the morning went perfect.
Now we just got back from a trip to Florida, all the way to Miami. Lots of rain in the afternoons and one day was miserable with a Tropical Storm but I did crochet on my kitchen curtain...
Here in Georgia we got lots of rain as well, a very green summer so far. Not always easy for planning our bike rides...
      Sending you hugs,
      Mariette

  2. It's so beautiful. My hibiscus was so gorgeous over the winter but unfortunately never survives the summer heat.

  6. It looks beautiful against your paint. Perfect!!
I am trying to revive a couple flowering potted plants that were neglected when I went up north. Some pruning and trimming and deadheading and they're looking a little healthier. Daily watering is a must!
I am enjoying hibiscus tea at the moment!

  15. I have never thought to grow hibiscus in a pot, but now I will try, dear Mariette! Your pretty patio looks so cool and inviting, too! Yes, it is hard to keep the flowers happy when the hot sun is beating down. We so badly need rain here. I am so glad that you have found some help for Pieter in the gardens and that you were able to order the window shade from the Netherlands. Your crochet curtains are so very beautiful and something to treasure. Sending you hugs xo Karen
