TV Interview by Sue Colter with Pieter J.C. Vedder about Leprosy Project in Indonesia

Sunday, January 29, 2023 is again World Leprosy Day...
So I like to share with you this local TV interview by Sue Colter (and Gillis Video) with Pieter J.C. Vedder about Leprosy Project in Indonesia.
Pieter got quite emotional in telling his/our story...
Click CC for subtitle/closed captions.
It sure IS heartbreaking and if one reads today on World Data Atlas that it is even inside the USA—that is scary!

Each year there are 200,000 people diagnosed with leprosy...
DON'T THINK THAT IS FAR AWAY...!
With our open border—it might even be higher than that...!

      Abrazos,

    1. Dearest Victor,
No thanks, this is just a little attempt for creating some more awareness of a biblical disease that has been neglected way too long...

    1. Dearest J.S.,
Thank you but both of us are just normal people—trying only to bring this to the attention of others as those lepers have NO VOICE!

    1. Cara Olga,
Cerchiamo almeno di portare un po' di consapevolezza. Quelle persone sono assolutamente senza voce...

  6. A disease that could have been eradicated a long time ago. It's amazing that there are so many new cases annually.

    1. Dearest Christina,
You are so right about that but I guess their is no interest in doing so. They seem to be the forgotten people and yes, it is on the rise again—even here in the USA with the open border.
      May God help us all!
      Hugs,
      Mariette
