  1. Dear Mariette, I followed the link and found the albums with your nice photos. So much fun to look at all of them. I enjoyed the garden photos and the indoor photos as well. Your french tea party was really a hit, wasn't it? I can see on the photos that your guests enjoyed it, too. All is so nice arranged and the cakes look really yummy. Oh, I would love to join your tea-party. Have a nice weekend. Greetings, Johanna

  2. Dear Mariette!!!

Managed to visit your gardens...they are BEAUTIFUL!!! Reminds me of the parks in Boston, where a about 3 years ago we took a city break before returning to the UK. We had been working in the Caribbean all winter, so seeing spring flowers after all the hot sunshine was just like HEAVEN!! (I am a GREAT fan of proper seasons!!). I really, really enjoyed your photos!! Thank you for showing us! And also had a peek at your Coffee Party! I LOVE little events like that! I am sure you had a FUN afternoon!!! Do you often host parties like this?

Hope you had a lovely weekend and kindest regards from England!

  3. Dear Nicola,

I do host a tea as often as clients want me to host one. It could be any tea with a theme, like Universi-tea; Sympa-tea; Special-tea; or a Tea for a Cause; Special Tea for Stitches ~ a sip and tell about crochet and knitting... It is really endless to use any occasion to get together with dear friends and enjoy the beautiful china and silver ware. Preferably roses and angels. My Twitter name is AngelsnRosebuds... not without a reason!
Anyway, thanks for your sweet response which is greatly appreciated! It feels so good to meet with kindred spirits and to share these heavenly ideas that live in our minds and sometimes get to be carried out into real action. Even though right now it is almost overwhelming to have that much on hand with garden and other events. Blossom season however is only very brief... like our lives. With eighteen you are a rose in the bud and than you open up more but eventually the beauty will fade with age. Then the memory counts to have it sealed forever inside our hearts to reminisce about it!

    Have a great week!

    Mariette
