{HAPPY EASTER 2014!}

To all readers, all over the world, I like to wish you and your loved ones a HAPPY EASTER for 2014! We are lucky that the heavy rain has stopped here, we got 3 inches of rain yesterday! Our 2nd Easter day is supposed to be sunny! In Europe 2nd Easter day is still being observed as a holiday but not so in the USA; but sunshine is always welcome.

    We had heavy rain from Friday evening through Saturday morning. It has stopped but still cloudy. It's supposed to be sunny on Sunday, though :-)
    Your Easter table is so lovely and very cheerful! Happy weekend and have a wonderful Easter holiday!

    Beautiful table, dear Mariette! We have a long weekend holiday here, starting Good Friday, where everything is closed and you must respect the day Jesus of Nazareth was crucified.

    Magnifica questa tavola Pasquale, allegra, gioiosa, dai colori del sole e della luce. Qui oggi c'è il sole, anche se avevano previsto la pioggia.....meglio così perchè di pioggia ne abbiamo avuta anche troppa! Buona Pasqua anche a te cara Mariette e alla tua famiglia. Un abbraccio. Paola

    Alweer op de helft...maar jullie ook een fijn Paasfeest, al valt het hier een beetje 'in het water' omdat mijn man maandag j.l. geopereerd is, zijn huig en keelamandelen zijn weggehaald en dat is zeeeer pijnlijk, en is nu na 1 week nog steeds zeer pijnlijk, dus geen lekkere eitjes en broodjes eten , geen fiets of wandeltochtjes, geen gezellig 'kletsen' met de kinderen, want alles van die 'activiteiten' doet pijn bij hem... maar goed, het gaat vast allemaal weer goed komen..dan halen we het gewoon weer in...

    yes, after 15 years that I live here, my parents still don't remember that in US the day after Easter (Pasquetta) and the day after Christmas (St. Stefano) are NOT holidays.

    Hallo liebe Mariette...bei uns kam die Sonne am Sonntag dann auch noch. Es war ein schöner Tag.
    Wir hatten das Abschiedsessen von unseren Eltern mit der ganzen Familie. In einem Restaurant auf einem Rebberg wo unsere Eltern ihr erstes Date hatten.
    Bestimmt durftest du mit deinen Lieben ein schönes Ostern geniessen.
