{Mauve Double Rose of Sharon Hibiscus Behind Our Pond}

This year we have extended our collection of Hibiscus by lots of little plants.
Not all of these young plants did bloom this summer but one Mauve Double Rose of Sharon Hibiscus behind our Pond put on quite a show.
At least, it is my guess of being this a mauve color... I am not an expert!
Don't you love this fully double version?
Just a perfect blossom!
How beautiful such a double Rose of Sharon Hibiscus can be; just for one day...

    I love this beautiful 'Rose of Sharon' hibiscus, the colour and form are what I love!
    I've always wanted a pond so I could grow some of the water loving plants like blue irises!
    I wonder what do you grow on the edges of your pond Mariette?

    Oh yes, what a beauty this hibiscus flower is!
    Hibiscus is probably my favourite flowering bush :)
    To me it is synonymous of sunshine and tropical climates!

    Wat heb je toch een prachtige tuin Mariette. Zo'n enorme varieteit in planten! De hibiscus bloemen zijn mooi. Fijn dat het bij jullie nu ook iets koeler begint te worden. Dan wordt het ook wat aangenamer om buiten te zitten. Bij ons nog geen herfststormen, maar wel veel regen bij een temperatuur van rond de 16 graden. 'Ze zeggen' dat het nog gaat nazomeren. Wie weet....ik hoop van het weekend, wanneer ik vrij ben :-)

    Wat een prachtige Hibicus mooie kleur ...heelaas is hier het klimaat
    ook niet geschikt voor de Hibiscus ...of hij moet binnen overleveren
    en ik heb al zoveel potten die na binnen moeten ..

    Liebe Mariette,
    eine sehr hübsche Blüte. Anders wie gewohnt. Wir haben auch eine kleine, sehr kleine Hibiskusstaude mit riesigen Blüten, aber leider kommt sie jewils erst gegen Ende Sommer. Ich möchte gern eine Winterharte Hibiskuspflanze in Blau. Die blüht dann auch schon früher.

    Vielleicht durch die Änderung Deines Blog-Hintergrundes geändert? Normalerweise erscheint die Startseite mit Klick auf den Header, was bei Dir nicht geht. Nun schaue ich mal, ob ich sie jetzt finde. Ansonsten kann man auch einfach die url bis zum Schrägstrich einkürzen.
