Thank you and yes, working here on my Manuscript, I managed to capture the moment... Haha, it sure IS a huge number but over many years since 2009.
Those Clematis bring joy to our days.

    1. Dearest Jim,
Thank you so much for your touching comment! It is because of valuable readers and commenters like you, that I kept up the dedication. We're busy with the transcript for Pieter's final publication, and part of mine as well. Let's hope that we manage this soon, the same as getting back to normal life for the entire world!
      Hugs,
      Mariette

Thank you, it has been such joy to reach this milestone with the many blogger friends that I could visit for warming my soul with certain stories.
It is the largest of the Clematis species I guess, 9" diameter is indeed huge.
      Hugs,

    1. Beste Willy,
Ja, we genieten er intens van en de bloemen zijn zo groot als kleine schoteltjes met hun 20 cm doorsnee.
Nogmaals drie miljoen lijkt bijna onwerkelijk... maar ik blijf het schrijven doen met hart en ziel!

    1. Dearest Marie-Anne,
Thank you, it only shows us how fast times passes in good ten years time.
It underlines that I'm not doing it in vain, for free yes, but there are people visiting, looking and even reading.
We have had lovely weather and even today it reached 28°C again but it started raining with thunder later in the afternoon, just as the yard crew had taken care of the lawn and everything!
We both are rather occupied with typing the edited and updated manuscript for one more final publication from Pieter, with a little contribution from my part about harvesting etc.
Staying home serves us well, we had no plans anyway and only after the 3 books are done; all versions, except audio.
Thank you and for you in Greece, one week later the very same.
May God bless the world and let us soon return to normal.
      Hugs,
      Mariette

  8. Dear Mariette - I love your Clematis lanuginosa 'Candida' it really compliments the colour of your walls too. There is always something rather appealing about pure white flowers.
That is a huge number of visitors to your blog. I never think to look at my statistics, may be I should.

    1. Dearest Rosemary,
Yes, we too love this largest variety of Clematis with its 9" blossoms. We mainly opted for all white flowers... a kind of a moon garden but it cannot always be accomplished.
For a long time I had never scrolled down to below my posts and it kind of surprised me to see I was approaching the 3 million... It does not indicate the mutual joy of reading one another!
      Hugs,
      Mariette

Die Clematis ist wunderschön! Ich habe eine ähnliche, Weiße, Miss Bateman, sie enthält ein sehr zartes Grün, dass später verschwindet.
