  1. I've never seen a cat eat cashews and peanuts! Very cute! Cashews are actually my own favourite. 🙂

    1. Dearest Kim,
Oh, whenever I ate those unsalted mixed nuts, Dido had to have a sampling of cashews and peanuts. He sure was NUTS about them! His brother Spooky also eats a few peanuts but no other kitty ever wanted them.
Yes, they are my favorite too.
      Hugs,

  2. What a great video. Precious actually likes Brazil nuts. I can not even open the container without
her begging for her bits. I break off tiny bits until she has had 1/2 of one. They never seem to upset her so I gather they are safe. Lynn and Precious

  5. That is a wonderful memory. Thank you for sharing.

While our kitties never went after nuts, Jezebel (who passed away spring of 2023) liked salty tidbits. In her (and our) younger years she actually stole chips right out of my husband's hand as he put one in his mouth (!) and later enjoyed a tidbit from my guilty pleasure of McDonald's French fries. Hugs, my dear.

Some people just dislike cats and kitties sense that!
Too bad he did not get along well with them while feeding them for 3 months while his friend got hospitalized... Probably he didn't realize that the kitties missed their human parent and were kind of grieving.

  28. Condolences on the loss of your cousin Hans, and your unique nut-loving Dido. Hans certainly was a gifted artist. It's not easy to bring a picture to life. His art is his legacy, and a fine one it is. I hope Dido finds lots of nuts on the Rainbow Bridge.
