Houseplants in Delft White Pots in Our Veranda

As mentioned before, we loved keeping house plants.
This is in our Veranda, where we live now.

Not always easy due to our International Consulting.
In the background you can hear the Dutch World Radio (it got being 'silenced' in 2013... see link from previous post below.
When viewed on YouTube you find English information written below.
This was in the Veranda of our previous home...
Our present home's veranda.
Still have my Delft White Pots!
Those hand crocheted curtains died.

    1. Dearest Martha Jane,
Yes they sure were gorgeous and we loved them.
But the high price we paid for being away for consulting was that most perished... remember the top link below this post.

    1. Dearest Helen,
Indeed, this was the lovely room we 'had' as most plants perished while we were doing consulting for 2 or 3 weeks at a time.
The top link below post revealed that...

  6. Hello Mariette, There is something so elegant and clean about your white pots--I wonder that we don't see more of them. Also, the contrast with the green leaves is particularly effective.

    1. Dearest Jim,
Thank you and that obviously also was why I found them so attractive.
Delft started producing them when times were not so good, to make more people able to afford their products. Guess that over time the plastic ones pushed them off the market...

Well, wish I had the time for doing some real book reading or picking up fine crocheting work again. Our veranda is perfect for all that and for sharing a coffee or tea with friends.

  8. Hello Mariette, Oh no, your hand crotched curtains died. I noticed those right away. Lovely and bright Veranda. Looks like some fine gardens beyond the Veranda. Hugs, Betsy
