Here I would love to share with you our travels and adventures as international mushroom consultants. MEMOIRS about husband Pieter Vedder, who was a SCIENTIFIC PIONEER in Commercial Mushroom Cultivation Education. His practical handbook is in 9 languages and is called the MUSHROOM BIBLE: https://mariettesbacktobasics.blogspot.com/2020/08/modern-mushroom-growing-2020-harvesting.html
Dearest Martha Jane, Yes they sure were gorgeous and we loved them. But the high price we paid for being away for consulting was that most perished... remember the top link below this post. Hugs, Mariette
Querida Antónia, Tienes mucha suerte de vivir en una región donde las plantas de patio prosperan y son felices. Tenemos algo durante todo el año en nuestros patios. Abrazos, Mariette
Dearest Helen, Indeed, this was the lovely room we 'had' as most plants perished while we were doing consulting for 2 or 3 weeks at a time. The top link below post revealed that... Hugs, Mariette
Hello Mariette, There is something so elegant and clean about your white pots--I wonder that we don't see more of them. Also, the contrast with the green leaves is particularly effective. --Jim
Dearest Jim, Thank you and that obviously also was why I found them so attractive. Delft started producing them when times were not so good, to make more people able to afford their products. Guess that over time the plastic ones pushed them off the market... Hugs, Mariette
Dearest Debby, Well, wish I had the time for doing some real book reading or picking up fine crocheting work again. Our veranda is perfect for all that and for sharing a coffee or tea with friends. Hugs, Mariette
Hello Mariette, Oh no, your hand crotched curtains died. I noticed those right away. Lovely and bright Veranda. Looks like some fine gardens beyond the Veranda. Hugs, Betsy
Dearest Betsy, Yes, they did after 40 years of hanging at different homes in different countries... The view onto our garden from our veranda, always has been a nice one. Hugs, Mariette
Dearest Heidi, Thank you, glad you enjoyed these virtual 'visits' and seeing our green children! Delft White Pots make the flowers stand out best. Hugs, Mariette

It's so beautiful. It conveys a lot of peace and I think it's lovely to be there on a rainy day reading a book.
