Yes indeed, a ROYAL UPDATE was received on December 28, 2018 from the Fairmont Château Lake Louise - AccorHotels Group!
A very courteous note, for letting me know that the correction has been completed.

Now the info about H.R.H. Princess Louise is historically correct with her being the fourth daughter and NOT the oldest as I've found it written, while staying at the Château Lake Louise in September, see my post about that below.

Good job, Mariette! She was much younger than this photo when she and her husband, John Campbell, Marquis of Lorne (later the 9th Duke of Argyll) lived in Canada while he served as Governor General. They were in their 30s at the time. He was the youngest Governor General appointed and was considered a good one.

You are absolutely right about the photo showing an already 'aged' Princess Louise, instead of the young woman she was at the time of living in Canada.

Hello Mariette, Good for you for speaking up. History is not important unless it is accurate. I also give credit to the Fairmont Chateau for being attentive to your suggestion, and showing this interest in its own history. This attention to detail also suggests that I would be made comfortable there if I ever found myself in that locale.

Not everyone is a history buff though but both of us sure are and also geography has been high on our list.
We have been able to incorporate both into our work and it served us well for a better understanding of other cultures and backgrounds.
The Fairmont Hotels & Resorts are really the epitome of highest courtesy in every way!
It added to our overall happiness and wellbeing during our trip to British Columbia and Alberta.
