Our Acer Saccharum Marshall or Sugar Maple was looking rather nice and full on November 5.

It is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteDearest Sandi,
DeleteThis is the view from my living room and I've enjoyed it this fall.
Hugs,
Mariette
WOW, that is such a beautiful golden sight!
ReplyDeleteDearest Terry,
DeleteIt is a beautiful golden fall color indeed.
Hugs,
Mariette
Mariette
Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteDearest Vicky,
DeleteYes, it is a stunning beauty.
Hugs,
Mariette
It's a beautiful tree. All the trees here are beginning to look rather bare.
ReplyDeleteDearest Lorrie,
DeleteThank you and sure, you live at a much higher latitude!
Hugs,
Mariette
That is a beautiful tree.
ReplyDeleteDearest Jackie,
DeleteWhen driving to the north of Georgia, I noticed their beautiful orange color and the fact that my Pieter was colorblind and could never distinguish any reds and greens, this was perfect.
It has been more intense orange in previous years, depending of course on the season's rainfall etc.
Hugs,
Mariette
Lovely fall colours, Mariette. Alas, our trees are rather bare now, for the most part. 🍂
ReplyDeleteDearest Kim,
DeleteYes, you are so much more north and way ahead of us in the fall and behind in the spring...
It is only a brief moment that we can enjoy this beauty!
Hugs,
Mariette
What vivid color. I always enjoy seeing the sugar maples compared to the oaks. The oaks just never take on quite the color. I used to enjoy the purple of the ash trees but we have none in Ohio anymore thanks to the Emerald Ash borer. With our drought, our trees just turned yellow and dropped. And now the oaks that normally hang on until Dec. have turned completely brown and are dropping. We have leaf blowed, (the both of us together) 3 times and we have mountains of leaves we pile up in the "back 40" which is just the rear of our 1/2 acre and leave wild for the critters. Thank you for sharing this lovely photo. Precious did spend the past 2 eves on my legs and I am grateful she is feeling better. But scared every time we both move, in case we were to grab her and haul her off, lol. Lynn and Precious
ReplyDeleteDearest Lynn and Precious,
DeleteSo true about the oaks, they hold onto their leaves quite long but no color. Beach trees look better and they are the very last to shed.
Precious has to do without her catio for quite a while but she will adjust.
Hugs,
Mariette
Absolutely gorgeous tree, Mariette. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteDearest Martha Jane,
DeleteIt is and you see lots of them in your area more to the north from us.
Hugs,
Mariette
Mariette what a lovely purrfectly shape tree it is too.
ReplyDeleteIt is quite blustery here today. The leaves are dancing the jitterbug in the air
Hugs to you and your Boss Kitties
Cecilia
Dearest Cecilia,
DeleteYou are a keen observer and yes, this is in a perfect shape due to space and close enough to the creek for water.
It is looking very gray looking here as well and tomorrow rain.
That will knock down lots of leaves!
Hugs,
Mariette
Your sugar maple tree is pretty, Mariette. And I have to mention your wonderful Header, it's so charming. : )
ReplyDelete~Sheri
Dearest Sheri,
DeleteThank you and yes, dark chocolate belongs in my life! As well as my love for roses...
Hugs,
Mariette
It does look nice
ReplyDeleteDearest Jo-Anne,
DeleteIt is only for so short! Now it is 4 days later and less color and more leaves down already.
Hugs,
Mariette
Beautiful. We used to have a lot of sugar maples when I first lived here in 1992, but sadly, none have survived in our yard. XO
ReplyDeleteDearest Ellen,
DeleteThat is sad that you've lost all of your sugar maples—they are true beauties in the fall!
Hugs,
Mariette
That is a very pretty tree! Here our color was at its peak about three weeks ago...now most of the leaves are off the trees, helped by a lot of strong winds the past few days...and rain, too. In our yard the downed leaves were so thick the mulching mower almost got clofgged with them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your fall beauty!
Dearest Ingrid,
DeleteThank you and it is a beauty in form and in color. Sure, you are far more up north and ahead with the season.
Hugs,
Mariette
So beautiful, I wish we could grow those here.
ReplyDeleteDearest Jim and Barb,
DeleteOh their colors are the best but they indeed are very latitude related.
You live in a beautiful wildlife area... can't have it all at the same time.
Hugs,
Mariette
Beautiful tree! Love the colours :)
ReplyDeleteTitti
Dearest Titti,
DeleteYes, it sure is a gem for the fall!
Hugs,
Mariette
Tiene un precioso color y es bastante vistoso.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
Querida Antónia,
DeleteSí, una hermosa forma y color, ambos.
Abrazos,
Mariette
Beautiful tree!
ReplyDeleteDearest Melissa,
DeleteIt sure was beautiful till the rain started... That fall beauty is always so short–lived.
Hugs,
Mariette
Very beautiful colors.
ReplyDeleteDearest Anne,
DeleteYes, beautiful colors for a couple of days before the rain...
Hugs,
Mariette
Um belo exemplar com uma majestosa copa piramidal.
ReplyDeleteAbraço de amizade.
Juvenal Nunes
Caro Juvenal,
DeleteSim, a sua beleza é pela cor e forma.
Abraços,
Mariette
Prachtig goudgeel! Een sieraad in de tuin.
ReplyDeleteBeste Willy,
DeleteJa, dat was het voor enkele dagen!
Liefs,
Mariette
Wat ziet hij er mooi uit zo!
ReplyDeleteBeste Aritha,
DeleteJa, heel mooi qua vorm èn kleur!
Liefs,
Mariette
Beautiful proportions and fall color. I'm guessing it will get bigger and outlive us all!
ReplyDeleteDearest Peter,
DeleteIt sure will outlive us!
May others still be able to enjoy this ovate beauty.
Hugs,
Mariette
Lovely tree. The sky behind the yellow and golds really sets off the Autumn colors.
ReplyDeleteDearest Timelesslady,
DeleteThank you and it sure was a beauty for a couple of days!
Hugs,
Mariette
