It is my blogpost: {1862 Christofle Sugar Sifter Spoon 'Filet Violon'} that received the 2nd most pageviews of all time. Just click the above hyperlink...
Guess this IS a lovely presentation for a warm heart shaped waffle with hot tea served on a tennis tray with teacup from Royal Albert Princess Anne in a lovely rose pattern...
The 1862 French Christofle Sugar Sifter Spoon 'Filet Violon' is a beauty!
The silver muffineer we had made for us while living and working in Indonesia, following an antique pattern and I will show that soon.
Cupid Awake and Cupid Asleep with its original 1897 sepia photos is THE most popular, even if it has been sold right away.
Temporarily you will find this sequence on my sidebar and you can also click on the thumbnail for going there...
you do set things up nicely. :)
ReplyDeleteDearest Theresa,
DeleteAnd we eat them up nicely too! This weather makes you crave for waffles...
Hugs,
Mariette
Dearest Mariette,

Claudia
Dearest Claudia,
DeleteThere must be a reason that this is the second most popular... We love those tennis trays with teacups.
Happy weekend to you as well and stay cozy.

Elisabeth
Liebe Elisabeth,
Allemaal even goed.
Mariette
Yum... I could do with a waffle right now. The silver wear is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteDearest Kay,
DeleteOh you would be more than welcome, I'd love to serve you some. Real easily made and they are a treat with some tea.
Enjoy. Sifter spoons are a very simple way for making a yummy dessert!
Hugs,
Mariette
Liefs,
Mariette
No wonder this post had been so popular Dear Mariette. I love the intricate spoon and rose teacup. They look so beautiful paired with the waffle :)
ReplyDeleteDearest Pallavi,
DeleteThere must be a reason for its popularity indeed and who could resist such a snack being presented this way?
We find them very practical and love to use them.
Hugs,
Mariette
Delizioso prendere un té così!Baci,Rosetta
ReplyDeleteCara Rosetta,

Advent.
Lieber Gruss,
Mariette
Liebe Mariette,
ReplyDeleteein ganz tolles Arrangement.
Das Rosenmuster finde ich ganz allerliebst.
Einen schönen Abend wünscht dir
Irmi
Liebe Irmi,
Mariette
Dear Mariette, what a beautiful set!!!I like the rose teacup!!So preety and vintage!
ReplyDeleteI do'nt like waffles!My daughters,do!!Wish you a happy weekend!!Hugs!!
Dimi...
Dearest Dimi,
DeleteThis is really one of the prettiest rose china I know and the practical tennis tray with tea cup is a dream. One can enjoy simple things and feel pampered. Oh, we love waffles and the way I bake them with only egg whites they are really good, made from multi grain.
Hugs and happy weekend.
Mariette
It is a very pretty teacups Mariette and that waffe looks delicious too. My grandfather used to make them over the gas fire :-)
ReplyDeleteWishing you a happy weekend!
Madelief x
Dearest Madelief,
DeleteThose teacups are a dream... I have four of these sets and one with a coffee cup too. What a fond memory you have from your Grandfather. There is something special about waffles. I used to have an antique waffle iron in The Netherlands but I left it there... Now I have two electric ones, one with hearts and one with roses. Non stick and very easy to work with and they beep when the waffles are done.
Hugs and happy weekend.
Mariette

Dearest Leticia,
DeleteOh, if you prefer green tea I prepare you green tea as we drink that almost daily. You can read my previous post about green tea here: http://networkedblogs.com/Npemv

Liefs,
Mariette
Uuu, how elegant my friend! I drink a lot of Green tea, it's supposed to burn fat that's why the Chinese drink it a lot. The RA teacup is gorgeous and so is that silver spoon, plus the waffle. I'm glad you reposted this. Thanks for your wonderful visit, you always make my day!
ReplyDeleteMerry C'mas,
FABBY
Dearest Fabby,
DeleteWe both also drink more green tea than any other. Royal Albert did create some lovely china designs and I guess they invented this tennis or snack tray it seems like.
Sugar sifter spoons are very simple things for creating something sweet that everyone loves. A feast for the eye and for the stomach.
Waffles are great for colder days!
Hugs and thanks for your visit. Enjoy the Christmas Season with your loved ones.
Mariette
My dearest Mariette,
ReplyDeleteHere I am after a very busy week with an intensive course and Christmas celebrations at the school... and apologizing for having been such a bad blog follower these days... Thank you so much for your sweet words, my friend, I really do appreciate them so much! I am a great admirer of your blog and your blogging style, and I indeed feel honored by your words regarding both my nature posts and my creative posts. I am a blogger of only few words, but I love to let my images speak... and I am so happy to hear that they speak to your heart! :)
You are such a wonderful person, and I am indeed so grateful to have you as such a faithful blog reader! Thank you!!!
Wishing you a wonderful Advent weekend!
Lots of love and hugs!
Dearst Anna,
DeleteYou don't ever have to apologize for not being able to make the rounds, we all have that at times.
But important is that in general we support each other. You are doing extremely well with your languages and that I admire most, beside your artistic eye for beauty around you and for creating it.
Hugs and happy 3rd Advent!
Mariette
Your presentation is brilliant! Elegant and inviting ... hugs and blessings C. (HHL)
ReplyDeleteDearest Celia,
DeleteThank you sweet friend. Tea has its magic and it calms us down in this hectic life.
Hugs and love,
