We've changed plants inside our bay window Fiberglass Window Boxes.
Here they are: White Verbenas
We used to have pink verbenas but we lost them while being for 2 weeks in Europe, for attending a wedding... It was hay when we got back home.
Pink no longer works well with our Benjamin Moore Golden Mist color for the exterior...

Looking promising! Even though the above is not a pure white in my opinion but a silver...
This is perfect and very healthy.
They got all sold as being Aztec White Verbena

DeleteWe also used to have pink but the color goes less perfect with our exterior paint now. Our pink ones we did keep for about a decade, they came back every spring!

DeleteThey seem to be very hard to come by. Home Depot did not stock up on their white Lanai, only on line but out of stock the entire season... We found these through a local garden shop.

Oh they are so lovely! White flowers match the golden mist color very beautifully. The silver ones look a little bit pink as well. I wonder if they'll become more white as time passes. I began to grow new catnip/catmint on the deck. They just started to sprout :-)

DeleteWhite is indeed the best match with the golden mist color. That silver one is just an error I guess, someone mixed up the colors and they indeed are a tad pinkish.
Catnip will grow well if the humidity is kind of high.

Sommige bloemen doen het hier ook niet ..zomers is het hier ook veel te warm en te
droog ....en als het dan regent krijg je van die harden buien ...

DeleteOp de foto hier zien ze er best mooi uit maar het valt niet mee gedurende de zomer om alles in leven te houden. Het is geen Nederland waar het nat en koel is voor het merendeel van het jaar en dat is voor planten het allerbeste.
Bij ons heb je ook van die harde tropische buien en die regen is ook zo weer weg omdat we geen vlak land hebben maar heuvelachtig. Inderdaad, we proberen het telkens weer opnieuw en als het lukt is de beloning dubbel.

Our week will start looking better from today on. Pieter had his colonoscopy this morning and yesterday we got home at 7:00 AM after a delay of 10 hours at the Atlanta airport. Our flight for Savannah got delayed and finally canceled due to severe weather where it had to depart from, in Alabama. Another plane was flown in from New Jersey to finally take us home by 3:45 AM...
Still not caught up on sleep since we had to leave at 8:00 AM this morning. But all is well!
