In our veranda we enjoy looking at our sun catcher with quote from Edward W. Bok that we purchased at the Bok Tower, highest point in Florida.
Just want to share it with you here:
Click to find it on my Pinterest in: QUOTES & WORDS OF WISDOM with info for ordering it from the Bok Tower Giftshop.
It is hanging to the right, next to another one from the Bok Tower.
Below my Hand Crocheted Fleur de Lys curtains...
A bit more close but still hard to actually catch it well, against the light!
Together with the Delftware houses we collected over the years from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines it looks great!
This is it, looking outside...
Wishing you a lovely day and thanks for your visit and comment!

Edward Bok was an excellent writer, he published the first woman's magazine. He also came from The Netherlands, as a young boy. Proud of him!
Happy weekend to you and yours,

Hello Mariette, With your gifts at needlework, you certainly have practiced what is so beautifully stated on that motto.

Liebe Mariette,
Mariette
Leuk die hangers voor het raam. De KLM huisjes staan daar ook prachtig. Mooie sfeervolle ruimte.
ReplyDeleteFijne zondag, lieve groet
Beste Willy,
Mariette

I LOVE those curtains that you crocheted. I remember other projects you were doing and I was just struck with admiration at your ability and talent. They re beautiful...all the crocheting you have done that I have seen here at the blog. Love seeing any or all of them.
ReplyDeleteDearest Katie Isabella,
DeleteThank you for your kind words! Wish I could find time again for doing some fine crocheting, like making handkerchiefs. There's so much to do always... This veranda is a dream for doing such work.
Sending you both hugs,
Mariette
The sun catcher is beautiful. I love the elegant design with flowers and birds surrounding the quote! I also admire your home - beautiful decoration and flowers!
