Benin, officially the Republic of Benin, is a country in West Africa.
That took a while since October 19, of 2013 for gaining but 1 more country!

There are 196 countries in the world, if you include Taiwan. (I had to google it, of course :-) )
ReplyDeleteOh wow, you've almost covered the entire world! That is pretty remarkable!
Dearest Tamago,
DeleteOne wonders at times as names keep changing and it's hard to even keep up!
It is amazing that nowadays we can reach all corners of the earth indeed.
Happy weekend to you and enjoy the sunshine.
Hugs,
Mariette
I've never heard of the country "Benin"! Reading Tamago-san's comment, I also WAS amazed, Dear Mariette :-)
ReplyDeleteSending you lots of love and hugs to my friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
Dearest Miyako,
DeleteIt is only like ten years ago, none of us would ever have thought about all those countries... and now suddenly through social media we are interacting with each other world wide! It is a great thing that our Grandparents would NOT understand at all... if they could come back and see.
Hugs and love from Georgia/USA,
Mariette

Lieve Mariette,
Mariette

Dearest Dimi,
DeleteWell, it is not so much an achievement on my own but thanks to Google!
No, I too had to verify my guess for 'some African' country and googled it first. Slowly the entire world is becoming more and more involved in social media. That's how we all can learn so much from each other!
Sure, you form my Greek triangle with The Netherlands as your daughter is living now in my birth country!
A lovely Sunday evening to you dear friend and lots of hugs!
