Here I would love to share with you our travels and adventures as international mushroom consultants. MEMOIRS about husband Pieter Vedder, who was a SCIENTIFIC PIONEER in Commercial Mushroom Cultivation Education. His practical handbook is in 9 languages and is called the MUSHROOM BIBLE: https://mariettesbacktobasics.blogspot.com/2020/08/modern-mushroom-growing-2020-harvesting.html
Wonderful wild pets. Awesome bridge. Your husband is multi-skilled. He can do everything. My husband is similar. I design and come up with everything, and my husband implements the plan ;-)) Who in your family is planning?
Dearest Anne, For outdoors, Pieter is the designer, planner and doer. Inside when I'd discussed something over breakfast, later in the day Pieter got it done. Such as making a pull out shelving above my oven. A very clever and handy husband and I'm glad your husband is similar to that! A huge blessing. Hugs, Mariette
Dearest Christina, Yes, so do both of us. Being a kid, Dad would show us silent movies about Knabbel and Babbel (Chip and Dale) the chipmunks and we LOVED them. So here I am, living in an area where they come close to humans! Hugs, Mariette
I find it amazing that the wild creatures can become comfortable around us when we show them calm and love. We always had birds who would let us walk right up to them while we filled the feeders, hummingbirds who waited patiently while i refilled their bottle feeders, and even geese who came into our yard for corn and watched patiently as I filled their pans (one would sometimes nudge me along, I guess he was hungry lol). Jerry and I always used to plan and make things outdoors together. Sometimes we still get the chance to do small projects over at the kids/grandkids homes... but not too hard since we tire easily at our ages lol. Love and hugs to you, Mariette!
Dearest Diana, Yes, all those critters adapt to their environment and remain very calm when interacting the way you and we do. One of the big plusses of living in the USA and in the South. Not densely populated and therefore less aggression. It is great for staying active in small projects; it brings joy! Hugs, Mariette
Really beautiful creatures. They seem so happy.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you always.
Dearest Victor,
DeleteThey sure are beautiful and they resided here long before we came and claimed this property! We love nature.
Hugs,
Mariette
Es la ventaja de tener un gran jardín. Además puede tener buenos animales, que proporcionan una gran compañía.
ReplyDeleteBesos
¡Seguro que nos encantan estos lindos compañeros en nuestro jardín! Esos y los pájaros...
DeleteAbrazos,
Mariette
It's amazing how calm and relaxed the bunny is in your presence. He's adorable!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Mariette!
Dearest Martha Jane,
DeleteWell, he/she must have loved my dialect! Adorable they certainly are.
