{16 Crocheted Christmas Ornaments I made for the City Hall's Tree}

Just came across this picture of the 16 different crocheted lace Christmas ornaments that I'd made for our Dublin, Georgia City Hall. Since on Saturday, November 19 of 1994, I was having my Christmas Sale, like the day before, I was unable to bring them to the City Hall for hanging them on the tree... My Dublin Mama did pick them up and did it for me. As she did often, helping me out.
From Magic Crochet, December 1985
Crochet patten is easy to make...
This is our City Hall with some Christmas decoration around its columns.
Just on a regular day...
Yes, I am living now in the NEW WORLD...
Our County only got established in 1807.
Quite a change from the OLD WORLD with its rich history!
This is actually a large mural in down town.

  1. Dear Mariette,
those crocheted lace Christmas ornaments are outstanding. They really look like snowstars. I have seen sometimes Irish chrocheted flowers. Your snowornaments remind me a lot to them. I can imagine how nice a Christmas tree would be, only decorated with such ornaments. Great work.
    Greetings, Johanna

  2. guten Morgen liebe Mariette,

    Sara

  8. Hi Mariette,
I love your snowflakes! You are one talented lady to create these. I also have dozens on our Christmas tree. I did not make them, but a sweet lady did for me and each is different and very detailed. Yours are so gorgeous and the city blessed to have them for display. Great pictures.

I also adore the porcelain lamp with the folk art painting. I love this style and have painted a few things in this style as well.

The chocolate letters look so yummy!

So enjoyed catching up with your posts. Thank you for stopping by.
Hope you are enjoying the holiday season.
    Love to you, Celestina Marie
