{1960s Vintage French Lampe Berger RV Molded Glass}

Another French treasure for you; a perfect 1960s Vintage Lampe Berger RV Molded Glass. It is listed in the book by Gérald Vilcocq - Lampes Berger A Century of History on page 203. As usual, this treasure and others is available at my on line: Spectrenoir.
Leaning onto the Fleur de Lys love seat...
On page 203 (at the top to the right) of Gérald Vilcocq's book you find it - RV Verre moulé (meaning Molded glass).
A view against a clear wall. Hard to capture this beautiful molded glass!
This one is with flash light, showing also the original stone  and wick.
You can see the marking: Made in France...
It has a brass snuffer cap.
The Lampe Berger marking...
On the other side it reads: MADE IN FRANCE.
Again, under the molded glass it reads: MADE IN FRANCE.
This is a very rare lamp and I only found one at 1stdibs
They have listed it as being Baccarat... (?)
Sorry Sold out...

{1910s French Roubleff - Precursor of Lampe Berger}

Have you ever seen this type of 1910s French Hygienic Ozonator Lamp by Roubleff? It is the precursor of the French Lampe Berger as we probably all know by now. This one is still complete, with its original stone and wick and it is in beautiful pressed glass. On the bottom it shows the Roubleff mark. A very rare piece of antique for the collector, in perfect condition. Available at my Zen Cart powered on line Boutique: 1910s French Roubleff Precursor of Lampe Berger ←click link. Worldwide Shipping!
Beautiful pressed glass and as said, in perfect condition.
Screw on cap.

Detail of the original stone catalytic and its mesh.
Roubleff mark pressed into the glass in a circle on the bottom of the lampe.

French pamphlet with Roubleff lampe at the top.
Being sold here is also a similar Roubleff lampe.

{1950s Camille Tharaud Limoges Lampe Berger with Violets}

From France I like to show you these two vintage 1950s Camille Tharaud Limoges Lampe Berger with Violets. They both are in perfect condition, complete with brass crown, snuff cap and wick. One of them even has the older ajoured brass crown. Very rare and sought after collectors items. French Monsieur Gérald Vilcocq, did write the hardcover book: >Lampes Berger A Century of History. You don't need to go all the way to France but just shop on line at my Zen Cart on line Boutique Mariette's Back to Basics  for these unique pieces. World-Wide Shipping!
Both are sold out...
Those brass ajoured crowns have their vintage patina.
In the center I placed a Baccarat vase with ribbon violets, made by Dana from Lambs and Ivy Designs. You ought to see her work as it is incredible. Look on Pinterest: Lambs and Ivy Designs Ribbonwork
The heart that loves is always young...
Look at the hand painting on those beautiful Limoges porcelain Lampe Berger.
They are slightly different, indicating their hand work. The ajoured crown lampe, to the right, is slightly taller and also the porcelain lampe base has a nice gilded edge around its neck.
Their shape is also slightly different. But they are without any scratch or whatsoever; perfect pieces for their age.

Tell me, do you own any vintage Lampe Berger?
And if you are not familiar with the Lampe Berger usage, watch this educational video from Lampe Berger, called >LIVE IN AIR YOU LOVE.
Sorry Sold out...
 Sorry Sold out...
This is the underside with its Camille Tharaud Limoges France markings from the least ajoured brass crown to the left.
This underside with markings belongs to the most ajoured brass crown, it has the initials TP.
On page 210 of Monsieur Gerald Vilcocq's book you can find several markings, also from Camille Tharaud, at the bottom.

That was it for todays boutique items.
Hope you liked the violets!

{LIVE IN AIR YOU LOVE}

The first Lampe Berger lamp was created in 1898 by Maurice Berger, a pharmacy dispenser, to purify the air in hospital wards. Lampe Berger, the leader in innovations for air care, cleans the room air by destroying unwanted odors and providing long-lasting fragrance, due to its exclusive diffusion system. By eliminating unpleasant smelling molecules (tobacco, cooking, etc.), Lampe Berger cleans the interior air of your home. This video will explain the use of Lampe Berger lamps which are available at my Zen Cart powered boutique on line: Spectrenoir. Look below for some samples of Antique and Vintage Lampe Berger and if you wish to have info on any one of them, let me know...

{Vintage Signed and Numbered 33 Limoges Lampe Berger by Charles Ahrenfeldt}

  • From France again comes this beauty of a Lampe Berger with an artful Anémones bottle by Charles Ahrenfeldt from 1963-1971.
  • On page 134 of the book Lampes Berger: A Century of History by Gérald Vilcocq you can read more about the history of Charles Ahrenfeldt.
  • This is a stunning bottle and in perfect condition as well; complete with ajoured brass crown, snuff cap and burner wick.
  • That is remarkable for such a lamp, being half a century old! This was available at my on line boutique Mariette's Back to Basics.

  • Beautiful relief work and to the lower left you also see a signature, near the stems with thorns.
  • That is very rare!
  • A detail of the Anémones, See signature at left?
  • Anemone tomentosa Robustissima is the botanical name of these flowers.
    Also called Japanese Anemone, Windflower.
  • Part of the back side, beautiful detail too.

  • Triple initials CA with Limoges France and Porcelaine Charles Ahrenfeldt Limoges France.
  • Also numbered 33.

  • Made in France on this side of the brass neck...
  • All complete in brass as the vintage models used to be made.
  • The new ones nowadays have a very light aluminum crown and are no longer made from heavier brass, bronze or tin.
  • Even the earliest catalytic is in tact.
  • Again a signature visible here.

In about two weeks I will list two more of these Charles Ahrenfeldt Lampe Berger but they do NOT have this special signature and are not numbered either...
  • Made in France

Sorry Sold out...
  • Lampe Berger

This is page 134 from the book I have for reference.
  • This is the book I got from publisher NOÈME
  • I could not scan that part as this hard cover is too large, but it is written under the Lampe Berger at the bottom.

This darling porcelain Lampe Berger with romantic Moss Roses by Revol is such a treasure. It is showing the older, solid brass open worked 'ajour' cap. This is available at my boutique Mariette's Back to Basics
Hand crocheted doily is made by my sister-in-law Elly.
Sorry Sold out...

 Lampe Berger Cherub Cameo (Angelot) is one of my favorites! No longer available but I do have ONE in my boutique...  Mariette's Back to Basics.

The opaque center is very hard to capture on camera but I tried my best. A golden circle makes the Cherub Cameo even stand out more.
The epitome of French Country Style...
For a video on how to use these lamps, please see my previous blog post: Lampes Berger 1898 - 1998 A Century of History

This beauty comes with a very heavy golden cap.

Sorry Sold out...

Inside my IKEA GODMORGON high gloss white cabinets I keep those, that I have for my on line boutique.
Different caps from different eras. Some vary different over the years and have a different maker's stamp on the bottom. If you would like to have additional info; don't hesitate to contact me!

This Swedish IKEA GODMORGON cabinet is a perfect match for showing off French Country Style with those Vintage Lampes Berger!
See similar ones at the Musée LAMPE BERGER.
Will be listing them soon for sale at: Spectrenoir.

High End Value for a fabulous Lampe Berger!
