{1950s French Camille Tharaud Limoges Lampe Berger with Red Roses}

Some of you may not yet know that I actually do have an on line Boutique where I sell mainly French Vintage and Antique Gifts. Yes, I do ship WORLDWIDE!
So here is another treasure found in France for you. A lovely 1950s Camille Tharaud Limoges Lampe Berger with Red Roses! It is in a perfect ORIGINAL condition. No new catalytic but still its original one. Very hard to find any of these.
Lovely Limoges Lampe Berger, which is available at my on line Boutique Mariette's Back to Basics
Photo from previous day, right before a sudden thunderstorm... Two roses from our garden but next day one was too far gone already.
With such a beautiful hand painted Limoges Lampe Berger you can have Red Roses year-round!
Camille Tharaud 1878-1956 was the inventor of the high fired porcelain; up to 1400°C.
This rare high quality porcelain sells often at extreme high prices like here at 1stdibs (click it)
Shown here is the back side with Red Roses painted on.
Our only rose blooming was not a red one...
Without the decorative brass cap, this lamp is 16 cm high or 6.3 inch.
Here you can see all its details, a perfect gold band around the foot.
Lampe Berger being embossed on its original brass neck.
And what is quite rare; its original CATALYTIC!
Really in pristine Museum Quality as you can see...
The markings on the bottom: Camille Tharaud Limoges Lampe Berger and made in France...
Sold out...
You can see this very lamp in exact the same condition, same cap as well, in the book: Lampes Berger A Century of History by Gérald Vilcocq on page 204, 3rd from the right... Find link below to a previous post where I show this book.
Only in France I did find this very same Lampe Berger with Red Roses at Souvenirs-d'Autrefois just click this link.
However, theirs is shown with a different cap and a new catalytic...

{1950s Camille Tharaud Limoges Lampe Berger with Violets}

From France I like to show you these two vintage 1950s Camille Tharaud Limoges Lampe Berger with Violets. They both are in perfect condition, complete with brass crown, snuff cap and wick. One of them even has the older ajoured brass crown. Very rare and sought after collectors items. French Monsieur Gérald Vilcocq, did write the hardcover book: >Lampes Berger A Century of History. You don't need to go all the way to France but just shop on line at my Zen Cart on line Boutique Mariette's Back to Basics  for these unique pieces. World-Wide Shipping!
Both are sold out...
Those brass ajoured crowns have their vintage patina.
In the center I placed a Baccarat vase with ribbon violets, made by Dana from Lambs and Ivy Designs. You ought to see her work as it is incredible. Look on Pinterest: Lambs and Ivy Designs Ribbonwork
The heart that loves is always young...
Look at the hand painting on those beautiful Limoges porcelain Lampe Berger.
They are slightly different, indicating their hand work. The ajoured crown lampe, to the right, is slightly taller and also the porcelain lampe base has a nice gilded edge around its neck.
Their shape is also slightly different. But they are without any scratch or whatsoever; perfect pieces for their age.

Tell me, do you own any vintage Lampe Berger?
And if you are not familiar with the Lampe Berger usage, watch this educational video from Lampe Berger, called >LIVE IN AIR YOU LOVE.
Sorry Sold out...
 Sorry Sold out...
This is the underside with its Camille Tharaud Limoges France markings from the least ajoured brass crown to the left.
This underside with markings belongs to the most ajoured brass crown, it has the initials TP.
On page 210 of Monsieur Gerald Vilcocq's book you can find several markings, also from Camille Tharaud, at the bottom.

That was it for todays boutique items.
Hope you liked the violets!

{Camille Tharaud Limoges Cobalt Blue Round pâte-sur-pâte box}

This is the last special Camille Tharaud Limoges boxes in pâte-sur-pâte that I have for you. It is a larger round one and no angel but a very lovely lady on a swing. The color is absolutely stunning in cobalt blue and he enamel is so shiny that it was quite a job for photographing this. Again exclusively available at my Zen Cart powered Mariette's Back to Basics on line.
Camille Tharaud born in France in 1878 was probably the most important artist ever, for making Limoges Enameled Elegance. He also mastered pâte sur pâte, or literally translated: paste on paste. The translation paste on paste however is misleading. The dark tint of the cobalt blue used for these jewelry or candy boxes, makes these pâte sur pâte objects so striking. They are finely painted and hand tooled on white slip. Tharaud's conception of the grand feu ̶ a single firing of an enameled piece at 1400 degrees ̶ literally locks the enamel decoration into the porcelain, permanently capturing the intended colors and decorating effects in one fell swoop. You can read more on page 17 of the 2009 high gloss book Deco Décor by Donald-Brian Johnson Leslie Piña.
Display is on a French Le Jacquard Français tea towel...
Marked with an F - Made in France - C (Camille) Tharaud Limoges France.
Sold out...
Christie's did auction off this heavenly plaque of pâte-sur-pâte by another artist, signed M. Chaufriasse Limoges. That sold on April 24 of 2003 for $ 5,019!

This time I have for you two French Camille Tharaud Limoges boxes with angels - cherubs on a cloud in a paler blue than the previous ones. Some call this also a bisque finish. They both will make lovely jewelry or dresser boxes.
This Angel Cherub trinket box is available at: Spectrenoir.
Shown on a blue tea towel from Le Jacquard Français
Marked in gold...
Sorry Sold Out...
Lovely oval angel cherub box by Camille Tharaud Limoges available at my Zen Cart powered on line boutique
Markings are in gold as well.
Sorry Sold out...

Christie's auctioned these so-called bisque (biscuit in French) plaques in 2005, see link here at CHRISTIE'S.
These are a lot taller than any of the boxes and a lot older probably...
