The singing angel to the left is a ceramic one from Italy, gift from a dear friend!

South Africa is a suitable climate, we recall our visit and how we admired its flora.

Very nice decorations, I recognize the iron rings as candleholder, my parents had the same in green and red. The candles always fit in with these.

DeleteFunny, that your Parents had them also in a different, more Christmassy color! Guess I got them also some place in The Netherlands and I opted for the brass ones, with gold candles. They indeed are a very clever invention with those fitting spirals.

DeleteJa, dass ist die Weihnachtsdecke worüber ich redete. Oh, ich mag Bad Münstereifel sehr gerne.
Die Holzgeschnitzte Engelchen sind sehr lieb und ich bewundere die Leute in Süd Tyrol um so etwas machen zu können! Danke, es ist das einzige grüne am Geschirr was wir eben haben... kein rot vorhanden.

Your carved cherubs are beautiful. I really like the simplicity of your Advent candles too. My Advent wreath of faux poinsettias has gotten covered with candle wax and the first candle has burned dangerously low to the foliage! I may adopt your simple "wreath" next year.

Ja, es ist noch ganz mild und am Wochenende wieder 22°C sogar! Der Regen hat aufgehört nach gut 5 Tage, am Morgen war's noch schlimm, unsere Bach ganz wild und voll.
